Museum of Sinopia - Pisa Address: Piazza del Duomo, ZIP: 56126 City: Pisa Location: Pisa Phone: 050 3872211 / 212 Fax: 050 560 505 Following a fire in the roof of the monumental cemetery, which occurred in July of 1944, the question was conservation of the frescoes of the Cemetery and its preparatory drawings (preparatory drawings), unearthed in 1947 from the first tear of the paintings above. The current museum, located on the south side of Piazza dei Miracoli in front of the cemetery, was set up between 1976 and 1979 in a pavilion specially restored the ancient Hospital of Santa Chiara. The museum consists of a metal structure composed of platforms connected by elevator and diaphragms. The works are placed on panels placed on the walls or hanging from rafters.
